My specialty is bringing books to the English-speaking world that wouldn't otherwise make it. The importance of these books is not just that they are interesting in their own right (though they are), but that they contain valuable lessons about how workers can band together to build economic and social power.

I'm working on two books currently. The first is The Cooperative Man, by Joxe Azurmendi. It is about José María Arizmendiarrieta, the spiritual founder of the Mondragon cooperatives. This book contains more information about Arizmendi than all other sources in English combined. At this point, the introduction and first two chapters are ready for public consumption, but there are eight chapters still to go.

The other book I'm working on currently is called Bauen: The Workers' Hotel. It documents the 15 years of the worker-owned and operated hotel called the Bauen, in Buenos Aires. Of the hundreds of recovered businesses in Argentina, it's probably the best known. The takeover of the hotel was impressive, but the story doesn't end there. In fact, it doesn't end at all.
