Hey there! My name's Rudy and this is my Liberapay page. I'm an 18-year-old musician from the Midwestern United States, and I have set out to accomplish two things in my life: make music and help people.

To accomplish the former goal (making music, that is), I've created a YouTube channel (RudyMakesMusic), devoted almost entirely to posting music videos (both original songs and covers of songs) in all different styles and genres.

To help people, I've decided to create a Twitch account (conveniently named RudyMakesMusic), where I will be doing charity livestreams at least once a month to raise money and awareness for various causes I think are worth raising money and awareness for.

Now, in order to accomplish my goals, I need your help. It takes a lot of time to do these things, time I might otherwise spend working to pay for expenses like paying off my car, contributing towards my family's mortgage payments, or just buying a new musical toy to mess around with. So, in order to justify taking the time to do these things (mainly the music stuff, charity work is justifiable on its own), I'm reaching out to you to contribute whatever you can to help me accomplish my goals as effectively as possible for as long and as much as I possibly can.

Even just $1 a month means I'm that much closer to being able to provide you guys with content full-time, without having to worry about where my next paycheck is coming from. And though charity work is a self-evident cause, the benefit of not having to work a part-time job on the weekends would also mean I'm more available to help out those in need, be it through the aforementioned charity livestreams, or interviews with leaders of various charity organizations, or any number of other methods of giving increased exposure and wealth to those who need it most.

Look, I know this is a lot to take in, so I want to thank you if you've read this far. You guys, patron or not, are the reason I do what I do. I want to entertain you, and let you know that you are not alone. I want to help you if you need help, even if I don't have all the answers to all your problems. I want to help, and the only way I'm going to be able to do that, the only way any of us are going to be able to help anybody, is if we come together as a community to take a stand and make a change.
