Project Windex accomplishes two things-

It combines a passion of mine for keeping our city and environment clean and a means to raise funding for future projects.

Here are three such projects in the early stages of development that I am very excited about:

1) Glass Humans, which will be a website and possibly a book sharing the stories and portraits of people in our local community.

2) An app that will allow people in Toledo and the surrounding areas to find short term jobs and gigs. (think Task Rabbit but geared just for our area)

3) Setup of some fresh produce stands in the inner city. (The Seeds of Love/Community Grows Program)

I’m also hoping that with the possibility of local business sponsorship- this effort to rid our town of litter can go on for a long long time.

How Project Windex Works:

Everyday myself and possibly a volunteer(s) will go to high traffic and high litter areas of Toledo and remove the trash. Everything that can be recycled will be and the rest will be disposed of.

I’ll post video content of each pickup , where I’ll update our patrons and everyone else about the progress, the donors, future projects, talk about other local topics, people and more.

Individual donors and one-time donations:

Any individual or entity who makes a donation of any size will will be acknowledged on our social media and any video content produced.

Reoccurring pledges and business sponsorships:

If you choose to make a reoccurring pledge you will considered a sponsor and if you choose to be, also a partner of Project Windex.
